Fairway Golf Car
HAs my neighbor gone to far with his recycling and environmental concerns .?
6 years ago he planted a hedge that is now 12 feet tall blocking my view of most of the 12 fairway and man made lake and fountain that I once enjoyed looking out at from my pool .
He said it is to block direct sunlight from his home reducing his energy costs .
If that was not enough he has a compost heap that he not only recycles dinner scraps and yard clippings but actually has his family of 7 collecting their poo to add to the compost heap creating a smell you would not believe on some days when the wind blows in my direction .
The community association has no restrictions on this and I am at a loss as to what can be done .

If you’re sitting on waterfront property, then his overgrown hedge could be driving your property value down. If you can prove this, I’m sure there are avenues to force him to cut it down.
The poo collecting, however, is just plain nasty. Some people have gone off the deep end about this “going green” bull. You might be able to contact the board of health and tell them a biohazard is near your property and you’re concerned about your family’s health. I’d also be tempted to take the “compost” bin and dump it on his front porch. Him cleaning that mess up a few times might make him rethink having one, or at least putting human waste in it.
